Hematic is an 18+, free, digital zine that focuses on the pairing Kirishima Eijirou and Bakugou Katsuki from the manga and anime My Hero Academia, with an emphasis on bloody tropes and kinks.

What is a zine?
A zine is traditionally a self-published piece of paper media. A FanZine is a zine put together about a particular piece of established media, sometimes by a single person and other times by a group.
What is this zine about?
Hematic is a KRBKKR zine dedicated to representing KRBK with bloody tropes and kinks. Some examples would from fights or biting, or darker aspects like cutting one another.
Will this be a digital or physical product?
This zine will be a free, digital product that will be downloadable for those who wish to consume the content.
Where will the profits of the zine go?
Hematic is a free zine, so there will be no profits. However, tipping the creators is encouraged.
How old must I be to participate?
All contributors must be 18 or older at the time of their application. Should a contributor apply and/or be accepted and it is found out they lied about their age, they will be removed from the project.
Generative AI, plagiarism, and art theft will not be tolerated. Anyone caught doing so will be immediately removed from the project, banned, and will not receive their contributor copy.

Applications
General Guidelines
All applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Hematic features works centered around KiriBaku with bloody kinks and tropes.
This project will have a total of 15 writers and 20 page artists.
You may apply for multiple roles, but you may only be chosen for one.
All sample submissions must be your own original work. Plagiarism, art theft, or gen-AI will not be accepted. Anyone caught submitting samples with them will be automatically disqualified from applying.

Writer Applications
Writer Contributors will be expected to create one fic with a word count between 2000 - 4000 words.
Writer Applications will be evaluated on elements such as spelling & grammar, characterization, flow, and tone.
Writing Portfolio
You must provide 2-3 sample pieces.
Sample pieces must be between 2000 - 3000 words in length.
Excerpts are allowed, but at least ONE sample must be complete.
KiriBaku must be featured in at least one piece.
A piece featuring the bloody theme is encouraged, though not required.
Works should be submitted via Google Drive links with viewing permissions turned on.
Both SFW and NSFW pieces are allowed (tagged appropriately).
Formatting should be kept simple and legible.
Artist Applications
Page artists will be expected to create one single-page illustration, two-page spread, or four-page comic.
All artists will have the opportunity to make additional spot illustrations for fics or merch art if they so desire.
Artist Applications will be evaluated on elements such as anatomy, composition, color palette, style, and technical skill.
Art Portfolio
You must provide at least 3 sample pieces in your application.
At least one must feature KiriBaku.
At least ONE sample must demonstrate your ability to illustrate a background.
A piece featuring the bloody theme is encouraged, though not required.
Both SFW and NSFW pieces are allowed.
All samples must be completed works! No sketches or WIPs please!
Collaboration Details
Ideally, all written works within the zine will have companion art.
These collaborations can be a page illustration accompanying the fic and/or a series of spot illustrations placed throughout the fic.
Spot Illustrations can range from "small scenes" involving one or more characters with background elements to "space fillers" of relevant, thematic objects with minimal to no background elements.
Both of these spot illustration styles are allowed.
